Oliveri : Agadir Bay — Restaurant in Agadir

Visited on Monday 25/08/2025. Went for dessert after dinner. A nice looking place with attractive decor and a pleasant setting. Clean tables and seating. The place was fairly busy but we were seated inside without delay. However it went downhill from here. A little wait for the staff to attend. A waiter duly arrived but insisted on taking orders individually for a group of 5 of us (instead of letting one person order for all of us). This required the children to try and communicate with the waiter who was not great at understanding English. He also insisted on taking the order in a certain sequence with the furthest away first and we thought it would be for a reason but when the order arrived he had no idea who had ordered what (most bizarre). Talking of the desserts, the brownie with caramel ice cream was nice, the remaining were mediocre at best and the pistachio ice cream had a n unusually bitter aftertaste. Not pleasant at all. It was a highly chaotic setting, not in keeping with the upmarket feel and pricing, with the staff literally bumping into each other and their manager having to instruct them of where to go and what to do. We thought it might be because it had newly opened but one of the staff told us they had been there for a number of years. Not sure we would go back there or to the other branch which we saw a day later...

I had a very disappointing experience at Oliveri. They wouldn't let me use the power outlets for my computer, citing various reasons like 'the outlets aren't working,' 'they are reserved for families,' or 'the tables are reserved.' This made it impossible for me to work there, even though the space was open and not private. The service was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable, with these instructions coming directly from the manager as i have been told by the staff. I expected better from a place that markets itself as a coffee and ice cream shop where you can relax and...

It is so bad i could give it a zero. the ice cream is nice but the service is just miserable. the waiters here seem like they hate their job. the service I received was so disappointing enough to speak up. we ordered ice cream. the waiter brought saucers and spoons to set up the table but he didn’t care to put each saucer in front of each one but left them stacked until he came back with the ice cream scoops. telling us to put each one separate! that’s not a service i was shocked.
