We came for lunch with high expectations, since we love l’entrecote.

We found 2 sandwich options so decided to try one of each. We specified this when ordering.

Once sat down of the 2 drinks we had, the coke had a weird taste so we asked to change it… again it had a weird taste and we decided not to drink it. Then the sandwiches arrive and they are the same even though we specifically asked for 1 black pepper and 1 sandwich du relais, as we wanted to try both.

They ended up replacing the second sandwich with what we had originally ordered, but when we went to pay they added an extra 10dh for the “change in menu” even though we had always ordered one of each. On top of this they didn’t even give us a discount for the coke we never drank.

The sandwich itself wasn’t great - one sandwich had crispy bread and great fries but the other had soft bread and the fries were a different quality somehow. The green entrecote sauce was lacking taste and the meat was overcooked. The black pepper sandwich was considerably better.

I first discovered La Baguette du Relais during a visit to Paris and instantly became a fan, so imagine my delight when I found a similar charming spot right here in Casablanca! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, laid-back, and joyful, just the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer. The staff was incredibly welcoming and treated us with genuine kindness and care, which made the experience even more memorable. The food was absolutely scrumptious!!! I had the salade riche du relais and the famous sandwich du relais, both were packed with flavor and fresh ingredients. I usually skip dessert, but this time I couldn’t resist the tiramisu and I’m glad I didn’t. It was light and truly delicious! It called my attention the restaurant decor and colors … it looked so clean, neat and new so we decided to order take away. Their menu is very simple which are steak sandwich w/ French fries in it with a green sauce ( pesto ) or brown ( pepper). We chose the pepper one and extra fries ( the owner told us to be very good… and they really are 😉👌) The meat was so tender and cooked to perfection. Great job guys.
