Some of the reviews were harsh. This is a fine place to stay but don't expect the service of a nice hotel or cozy Riad. |Pros|Cost. Paid 70US|Area. In nicer part of town near business district. Felt safer at night.|Modern decor |Blackout windows (no the windows did not lock but I never saw spiderman. Also for all i know it was user error. The electric shades were great)|We felt very safe and someone was always at the front. |We needed rush laundry and they made it happen (at a cost but worth it)|Good aircon||Addressing other complaints on TripAdvisor..|Yes it will be hard to get nespresso pods... just go get $1 coffee with locals|No the couches aren't really meant to sleep on.. this seemed clear in photos.|It does offer a kitchenette which is very basic. If you are counting on this, there are no sharp knives and you may want to call ahead to make sure enough silverware is available especially if you have 3 ppl. We didn't use so not sure if they have knives available. Could be a safety thing.|You have to pay tax on way out. Hotels.com did disclose this in other detail. Annoying on hotel.com part but noticed this everywhere. |We didn't try breakfast. Hotel was empty and assumed it would be easier to grab a pastry.|No one spoke that much English but I am in their country. |||Cons:|The service isn't that attentive as others mentioned. The decor was unfinished. Missing lightbulbs, towel rack, drawers didn't close easily. Doors weren't installed properly. Nothing to write home about but a little annoying as they advertise as new and great.|Service. Took 2 hours to get toilet paper.|We started with 2 towels. They cleaned room...
Read moreThis was our first visit to Morocco & we were looking out for a hotel which would accommodate our family of 3 adults comfortably & with a good location to move around in the city . yes this place served the above purpose , it was a one bedroom , one drawing room with additional bed and sofa , a kitchenette and 2 nice small terraces. while the rooms were nice and spacious with very well maintained and good house keeping service , there was one problem which they could not solve - the in room intercom telephone was not working , so we could never call the front office or house keeping or room service . On day 1 , hot water was not there in the bath and they could fix it only on day 2 . being a purely service apartment hotel it does serve only limited breakfast and u need to have all your other meals outside . the hotel does not have any Gym or other facilities . also note that the hotel does give complimentary 2 bottles of 500 ml water only on Day 1 of your stay , other days you got to buy it . for people who are used to have english breakfast tea will be disappointed as the hotel keeps only local Moroccan & green tea sachet in the room . the only plus point of the hotel is the front office person Miss.Huda , she is an excellent person and was trying to resolve all our issues with always beautiful smile on her face . a very...
Read moreThe worst booking experience ever. My booking was a total scam. Using MyLoft profile to route customers to another hotel. I booked a room at Myloft via booking.com and everything was confirmed until I reached the lobby.
A rude receptionist told me they had no more room (despite a confirmed status). The receptionist was unrespectful. She also told me that if I am not happy, she will not do anything and let me all night at the lobby. Then, she basically stopped talking to me and ignoring in the lobby for more than 1 hour. She didn't even try to put me in contact with the manager of the hotel despite several requests.
Their only objective was to use overbookings to relocate customers to a different hotel' owned by the same person/ or with the same manager. Needless to say the new proposed hotel was 20 min away from the Myloft hotel, poor quality &facility, no transportation included (new taxi expense on your side), no breakfast facility (included previously, poor room quality...).
This happened in the context of a curfew when we are not supposed to be outside after 8 pm. This is how they manage their client. I strongly suggest you to avoid this place. They use overbooking to fill all their hotels in Casablanca city.
Officially, no excuse...
