Ajikol Pizza Tamraght - Timam Du Chef — Restaurant in caïdat d'Aourir

I would go to this restaurant maybe 3/4 times per week when i was staying in Tamraght , which i did for almost 5 months & i would consider it probably the best restaurant that there is in that area , i was also only staying a mile up the road & it was on my way back to the hotel from the beach , the food was always pretty good & i tried most things on the menu , i especially liked & recommend the chicken skewer which comes with chips , a few vegetables & a small portion of rice , which sometimes would be hot , sometimes cold , the staff were always pleasant & with going there regularly i got to know them all & we used to have a laugh , they played some cool tunes too , my gripe though with this place is that the owner would see me in there too & he never once acknowledged me or said hello , i found this to be pretty disrespectful & ignorant especially with being a regular & a good customer , a couple of other things , there is always a lot of flies there & they also do home delivery & although it was only up the road to my place , the food would only just be warm & cold by the time you finish it , other wise , id recommend , dont think you will get a beer with your food though , its not...

During our one-week stay in the area, AjiKol was by far the best restaurant we discovered. The quality-to-price ratio is simply unbeatable. In a region where most restaurants are quite expensive (without really justifying it), AjiKol offers very fair prices — and the food is a thousand times better than the overpriced places nearby.

We tried almost everything on the menu (sandwiches, tajines, couscous, pasta, and traditional Moroccan dishes like Seffa) and everything was delicious, without exception. In the end, we ended up coming here every single day!

On top of that, the staff is extremely kind and, most importantly, very fast — which makes the whole experience even better. The restaurant also stays open very late (until around 4 AM), and there’s always people eating there, which just shows how popular and reliable it is.

Unfortunately, this place disappointed us greatly. We were all geared up from the reviews but alas it didn’t match them. The four cheese pasta was sloppy and tasteless (one of the cheeses was a cheese slice rolled up on top!), the seafood pasta gave us an upset stomach, the tagine needed seasoning. This is definitely not one we would recommend. Also, they only take cash and did not advise us of this at the beginning which meant a dash to the ATM along with lots of flies and stick table. Sorry but no recommendation for this restaurant from us. It’s a big 👎🏻

To reply to chef: We were not informed of the cash only basis at all and had to run to ATM. Your staff offered to take us. You can see from photo this was the seafood pasta we had ordered and were given. This was on 20th July. I can assure you we visited and this is not a fake review.
