Not Worth the Hype!

I had high expectations for Calypso, but unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable. The place is overpriced, especially considering the poor quality of the seating uncomfortable chairs that clearly haven’t been maintained.

Even worse, the staff was completely unprofessional. I witnessed waiters arguing and using foul language in front of guests, which was incredibly off-putting. The overall atmosphere felt chaotic, not classy or relaxing.

The guest crowd was also problematic, fights broke out in the parking lot over girls, making the place feel unsafe. The playlist was another letdown, with music that didn’t match the vibe or energy the place is supposedly going for.

To top it off, there was clear favoritism shown toward Gulf and Pakistani clients (Khalijis, Saudis, etc.), while Moroccan guests were treated as second-class. This kind of discrimination has no place in hospitality.

Ok ok so hear me out, I don’t know why this place isn’t more packed. We read various reviews and almost didn’t come because of them. Thankfully we decided to come and enjoyed ourselves so much we went back a second day in a row.

The pool is wonderful, was refreshing and just the right temperature. I had a few fresh fruit juices that were amazing and then for lunch I ordered the fresh caught fish and it was a work of art in both presentation and taste!

We had great service when we were here and the staff was really wonderful to us especially Mohamed!

Also, the dj they had playing was incredible. I have heard dj’s around the world and this guys mixes were making me dance by the pool all day!

If you’re in Taghazout is highly recommend giving it a try...

After 40 min of driving , we got there and they said that we can’t pay a normal entrance and we have to pay 2500 dhs for just two persons. There was nobody in the reception, we waited for more than 15 min . The girl in the reception Asma and her supervisor asked us if we will buy Alcohol inside ? Which is a must !!! We wanted to pay entrance which is 300 for two persons is 600 and if we order food and drunk it will be arround 1500 , they refuse that and prefer to have 5 persons for 2500 dh !! Which means that there is no management at allllll !!!!

Above all this I’m a client of this place from the opening ! The new team and management have to be changed as soon as possible .
