The restaurant's beautiful ambiance and breathtaking view were truly captivating. However, our experience with the service was nothing short of disappointing. As a family on a trip from the US, we decided to stop at this restaurant based on my previous positive experience a few years ago. Little did we know that our expectations would be shattered.
Upon arrival, we were made to wait for an excruciating 35 minutes before we could even place our order. When the waiter finally approached our table, he seemed agitated and began arguing with us, as if we were at fault for his delayed notification of our seating. It was an unpleasant start to our dining experience.
As we tried to inquire about certain items on the menu, hoping for some guidance or recommendations, the waiter's response was shockingly rude. He curtly stated that if we were not ready to order, he would have to leave us. This lack of patience and willingness to assist customers left us feeling frustrated and unwelcome.
After finally placing our orders, we eagerly awaited our meals, hoping that the food would make up for the subpar service. Unfortunately, our patience was tested once again as it took an additional hour for our food to be served. The delay was inexplicable and only added to our growing dissatisfaction.
Despite the disappointing service and the long wait for our meals, we must admit that the restaurant's bar area offered a redeeming quality. If you are simply looking to enjoy a drink and soak in the stunning view, this spot could still be a worthwhile visit. However, if you are seeking a complete dining experience with attentive service, it would be wise to explore...

On multiple occasions, we have paid for drinks that were not included on the bill. Each time, the waiter explained it as a "system error"—which seems more like the money is going straight into their pocket. The service has been consistently poor, and the bar has a limited selection that doesn't cater well to its target audience.
This evening, we ordered a steak, medium-rare. After waiting for 1.5 hours, we received a cold steak with cold vegetables. We requested the meal to be taken away and removed from the bill, but the waiter insisted it would take only 10 minutes to prepare a fresh plate. Five minutes later, we received the same dish with an overcooked, rock-hard steak. When I confronted the waiter about the service and the food quality, his response was, "Casa Jose is known for its terrible kitchen," which shocked me as a local business owner.
I urge management or the owners to take better care of your guests, or you risk becoming just another spot for one-time tourists passing by. I’m disappointed each time, but unfortunately, the view keeps...
Read moreCasa Jose is a disappointment wrapped in a beautiful view. While the restaurant's location offers stunning scenery, that's unfortunately the only positive thing I can say about this place.
The food was subpar at best. Dishes lacked flavor and were poorly prepared, leaving much to be desired. It's clear that little care or skill went into the cooking.
The service was abysmal and far from professional. The staff seemed disinterested and untrained, with long waits for basic requests and a general lack of attentiveness. Their behavior was shockingly poor, bordering on rude at times.
The only redeeming quality of Casa Jose is its view, which is admittedly quite beautiful. However, a nice view alone doesn't make up for terrible food and service. Save yourself the frustration and find a restaurant that can deliver on all fronts, not just scenery. Casa Jose has a lot of work to do if they want to improve...
