Hotel L'Initiale — Restaurant in caïdat de L’Oualidia

A single nights stop-off but the hotel was under renovation so we were moved to an apartment nearby. The actual hotel is in a great location adjacent to the lagoon and also a few minutes walk to the ocean side.Great little restaurant dining area where we only had breakfast. ||Cannot fully review the hotel stay but the stay in the alternative apartment considering the circumstances was more than acceptable. It was in a very quiet area (Oualidia at that time of the year is very quiet) and had all the basic amenities.||Both the owner Jacques and and his wife were very professional, courteous and friendly during our stay.||Also, I had forgotten that for this part of my stay, I had to pay in the hotel so left in the morning for Essaouira and then Marrakech without paying. I was quite embarrassed by this but his situation was handled very professionally by Jaques and the payment was taken two days later.||In summary: Great location right next to the lagoon, good staff and even better management.
