The first time I set eyes on Chez l'Arbi I had no expectations. The outside is very modest and leaves much to the imagination. To my surprise when you enter the restaurant... It's a completely different story! Modern art on the walls, chatter and the smell of delicious food fills the atmosphere.
L'Arbi takes your order and you can see him work away in the kitchen cooking up a feast that you are not prepared for! It's a humble kitchen with only the chef and another person working but such dedication!
The food is on another level! I went twice because of how much I loved the experience. I got the red meat tagine the first time and the berber omelette the 2nd time. A Berber treat, to show you how it can be done without the bla bla bla. Oh and he has a great taste for music ;) just as a side note. Along the dusty road you will find many other travelling souls each one writing their own story. Amazing, and once...
