We recently dined at 6ème, and unfortunately, the experience was absolutely terrible.
This was my third visit to this restaurant, and while my previous experiences were good, this time it was a complete disappointment. The service, customer care, and overall experience were all at zero, and here's why:
We were a group of four and waited 30 minutes*just to have someone take our order. Frustrated, we approached the server ourselves to place the order. After that, we waited another 15 minutes with no attention from the staff. Eventually, we had to go back to the server to ask for drinks and water, which were finally served 5 minutes later, followed by our meal 10 minutes after the drinks.
The service didn’t improve from there. We needed hot sauce and other condiments, but no one came to check on us. Again, we had to go to the server, who was busy cutting a cake at another table, and he completely ignored our request. When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told the manager was off-duty. The so-called "chief" on duty didn’t even acknowledge or listen to our concerns.
As someone with years of experience in the hospitality industry, I can confidently say this place deserves zero stars for its service, food quality, and lack of customer care. Despite raising our concerns, nothing was done to improve the situation. To top it all off, the bill came to over 500 dh, which made the poor experience even more unacceptable.
We will never return to this restaurant, and I would not recommend...
Read moreI decided to visit this café-restaurant with my family for a nice breakfast, but the experience turned out to be disappointing on several levels. First of all, I was surprised to find that the upstairs terraces were closed. I was told they are only open on weekends. This seems unacceptable, especially for a place that advertises itself as offering a beautiful view as its main attraction. By visiting during the week, I was specifically looking forward to enjoying a quiet moment and the view without the weekend crowds. Instead, I was deprived of this opportunity, which was truly frustrating.
Secondly, the parking issue further worsened my disappointment. I parked in a public space, but as I was leaving, a man appeared out of nowhere and demanded money, claiming the parking area was rented. However, according to the law, it is illegal to privatize and charge for public spaces. This behavior is not only unlawful but also reflects very poorly on the establishment. Additionally, the man refused to settle for 2 dirhams, which, in my opinion, amounts to an act of theft.
In summary, this visit was a bad experience. Between the unjustified restriction of access to the terraces and the unpleasant parking situation, I absolutely do not recommend this establishment and will...
Read moreFirst time in morroco and having food outside. Seems like a decent place with quite a bit of fan fare on new yrs night when we visited.
Service was quite delayed and busy mainly due to new yrs night.
We had 2 drinks / cocktails (special and pinacolada) these were just average, 50mad/each. Soft drinks - coke etc is 25MAD (rip off. Coke from a dairy store is 4MAD)
The had chicken pasta which was quite disappointing for 70MAD. It was bland and very tasteless considering that one is visiting Africa. No sauce given with it either.
Then we had chicken skewers 90MAD. The rice were uncooked but veges were ok. The fries or more like fried wedges were dripping with oil and less than half the container in quantity came after 30 mins post our meal. As usual bland chicken skewers. We were charged twice for fries even though we were told one fries is free. 15Mad for each fries.
Thirdly had the beef tangine 90MAD which was good. Although beef was a little under cooked but acceptable. Taste wise this was delicious.
Total bill 400MAD.
Overall I have rated low as for the place / ambience this felt really short of expectations given a high end eatery. Food is not worth it. And people have rated it low for a reason. There are better place to eat if one is visiting...
