Restaurant is integrated into a 5* hotel of a big Asian chain on the outskirts of Marrakech. This context and the headline “by Michelin Star Chef” together with the price tags set the expectations extremely high. We had lamb chops and lamb shank. Both were executed without any refinement. To our taste the chops were apparently cooked on a plancha with lots of grease. The shank was scortched and as a result only partially eatable. Dessert was fantastic, a mix of ice-cream, traditional dishes and pastry. As we were about to finish, Belinda kindly came over to check on us and bid us goodnight as her shift was ending. What a lovely thought. Thank you for a...

Our waiter Hakat made sure that we had an overall great experience at Shivran. We’ll definitely come back the next time...
