Tamaris : Café & Restaurant — Restaurant in Mehdya

Tamaris is a very nice place with a beautiful view, especially from the terrace, where you can enjoy your coffee while overlooking a peaceful and relaxing scenery. It’s also a child-friendly location — they have an indoor playground, which is absolutely perfect if you’re visiting with kids.

We’ve been there twice recently. During our last visit, which happened to be during an Islamic holiday, the place was very busy, and the service was a bit slow. I gave fewer stars in a previous review because of that, but I also understand the situation — it was crowded, and the staff were doing their best with limited help.

As for the food, it wasn’t quite what we expected — for example, the pizza wasn’t very flavorful, especially if you’re used to authentic Italian cuisine. But that’s also understandable; not every place specializes in international dishes.

Still, Tamaris is a lovely spot to enjoy a coffee, tea, fresh juice, cake, or ice cream. The overall atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and I would definitely recommend it — especially if you’re looking for a relaxing place with kids or just want to...

Got breakfast here with my wife. I ordered the restaurant's namesake dish and my wife ordered the British breakfast. Mine came without salmon and hers without sausage (the most expensive parts of each respective dish). When I asked for a discount from the manager, she told me they did have sausage and would be happy to box some up (I don't know why we would want a side of sausage after our breakfast), and ended up refusing to take off more than 10dh.
