La Kasbah des Sables : Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Ouarzazate

This is the most amazing restaurant I have been to in Morocco. Other reviews cite it is magical... and I trully agree. It is tucked down a little street with a very small obscure entrance. But once you walk through the doors it opens up into the most amazing space indeed. It is like an indoor oasis with these great pools of water and water features adorning the inside. The decor and architecture is beautiful. And I also have the mention the toilets have the most incredible wooden doors on them! Simply marvellous. The staff were all very attentive and wonderful. The head waiter speaks many languages, and is fluent is English and French. The food that arrived was all excellent. We had a salmon tartare and beef carpaccio to start, and a shortrib steak and beef fillet as mains. The tartare and carpaccio were really fresh and beautifully seasoned. And the mains were cooked to a perfect rare and medium-rare. My beef fillet came with this really incredible broccoli mousse as well that was just mindblowing. We had panna cotta for dessert, that was made with a special homemade strawberry coulis. And the chocolate mousse was rich and decadent. Really only good things to say about the food. The portions were also very generous. The steaks were enormous. Price, for what you get, is actually really good value. We had a very lovely evening...

The atmosphere is amazing, very calm and suitable for couples, family and friends. It’s an amazing place to enjoy a calm dinner or to celebrate a special occasion…

It makes my heart warm knowing that I can enjoy my meal in peace, the music playlist is worth to mention as it makes the atmosphere more pleasant ❤️

I can recommend the dishes they have to everyone I know, but I wish there will more options to choose from in the future :) I tried Pasta with chicken and mushrooms 🍄 and it was delicious, I also tried grilled meat with vegies, my opinion about it was medium but definitely not bad ❤️❤️

The cheese cake was my best part ever🤭🤭 I absolutely enjoyed every piece of it 🫠

For the service, the guys I interacted with was very professional and kind ❤️

I am so sad that this place doesn’t get any recognition! It is such a gorgeous place, truly a hidden gem.

There is a man sat at the door ready to walk you in (may seem like you’re in the wrong place at the beginning due to it being in a low-lit small road)

The service is amazing! The waiter is so attentive and cares truly to make the service the best for you. He is by himself, therefore it may be a bit slow, however this isn’t a fast-food restaurant anyway. He made sure we were warm and comfortable the whole time. Super friendly!

The food is lovely too. Great portion sizes, gorgeous bowls, great seasoning. Nothing bad to say about it! In regards to the pricing, I think it is very valid for what you get (bare in mind it is higher prices, it isn’t a place for budget meals).

The ambiance is top notch. Great music, super relaxing and gorgeous!!

Wouldn’t go anywhere else for dinner apart from this restaurant...
