Restaurante Diogo — Restaurant in Maputo

This evening I visited Diogo for my second time. The view was spectacular and the overall vibe was a lot of fun. Our family of 8 had really tasty food all around and the table service was as good as I remembered from my first visit.

I had an opportunity to also experience the commitment which the staff have towards their patrons. From the top management all the way to guard at the gate. If I could add more starts, I would! We had the most amazing lunch at Diogo's! The meal was more than sufficient (Combo prawns and fish with chips and salad) and totally delicious. The best chips ever!! Even more delicious was the Puddim ... Best puddim I have ever eaten and I've eaten many. 🍮🍮Our meals came within half an hour (for a group of 4) of ordering and our waiter was really attentive and helpful. Great location looking into the bay with the skyline of Maputo.

They have clean bathrooms, a clean beach, cold beer and excellent customer service. We ordered a few cold beers, large prawns and medium tiger prawns with rice and chips, which were served up quickly. The veggie simossas were also tasty.
