Restaurante MiraMar — Restaurant in Sofala Province

MiraMar - newly refurbished and reopened. Clean, open and a great view of the beach and sea. Staff friendly, with knowledge of the dishes on the menu - however in need of more training regarding observation, and attentive customer care. Food seems to be a bit of a hit and miss at this point. The Amêjoas great. Garlic bread lacking. (Unfortunately used margarine instead of butter, and need to select a denser type of roll/bread.) The plate of the day and the quarter/half chicken and chips ... delicious. Drinks pretty well stocked, however, no white wine...

Ambiance by the beach! Great outdoor seating on a late Sunday afternoon. Beer cost a mere 100 mt, less than $1.50. Was great for people-watching. The greeter and waiter was super-nice. Wish I had stayed longer and had supper there, too. Menu was easy to read...
