Ciato's Restaurant — Restaurant in Oranjemund

Truly one of the worst restaurant experiences in recent memory. Half cooked chips, margerine instead of butter - despite prices being on par with Cape Town. Fish was anything but fresh and dry and overcooked in a horrid batter. Service was slow, but alright. The problem with a menu that has absolutely everything on it, is that there is seldom anything on it that is done well, and I'm pretty sure it takes actual effort to stuff up chips. Ended up going back to the petrol station to buy something...

Waited an hours and a half for our food. My steak was like rubber. Half of it was just a big lump of fat. My wife's chicken was dry and had no taste. My daughter ordered pasta, the meat in it was tough and tasteless. I asked to speak to the manager, he was totally unwilling to listen. He rather blamed me for not calling him earlier. DO NOT EAT...

Came to the place at 17h00 ordered food and now it's 19h22 and still didn't get my food. The waitress don't even check up on clients to let them know...
