I’ve been visiting Aangan for the last four years, and I can confidently say it has never disappointed me. There’s a certain charm in the simplicity of the place that keeps drawing me back. The food and sweets are not only tasty but also quite affordable, which makes it a great spot for regular visits. While the overall cleanliness could use some improvement — something I’ve noticed more recently — it hasn’t been enough to keep me away. The staff may not always come across as cheerful, but they are friendly and helpful when needed. Now, the real reason to come here: the food. I highly recommend trying the Matka Rasmalai — it’s rich, creamy, and one of the best I’ve had. The Dosa is another must-try; consistently crisp and flavorful. I also tried the Samosa, which was decent, though not quite up to the mark compared to other items on the menu. At the end of the day, I come for the food — and Aangan delivers. But contrary to the place's name, didn't like the sweets here Gulab Jamun: big NO for me tastes like self made at home, other things like Dilkhush cost more than other places but at the same time didn't like it/I could taste something floury. Like DDC lalmohan was lot thicker, tastier and cost much less/you could get lot more for the same price I think even half price. Same comparison with Bikaner sweets Dilkhush. Same feelings towards Samosa chat: cost lot more but was really less like won't get you quarter full let alone full, and not that mindblowing as per price. Paneer jalebi is alright.
