I’ve been visiting Aangan for the last four years, and I can confidently say it has never disappointed me. There’s a certain charm in the simplicity of the place that keeps drawing me back. The food and sweets are not only tasty but also quite affordable, which makes it a great spot for regular visits. While the overall cleanliness could use some improvement — something I’ve noticed more recently — it hasn’t been enough to keep me away. The staff may not always come across as cheerful, but they are friendly and helpful when needed. Now, the real reason to come here: the food. I highly recommend trying the Matka Rasmalai — it’s rich, creamy, and one of the best I’ve had. The Dosa is another must-try; consistently crisp and flavorful. I also tried the Samosa, which was decent, though not quite up to the mark compared to other items on the menu. At the end of the day, I come for the food — and Aangan delivers. If you enjoy simple, satisfying Indian cuisine without breaking the bank, it’s definitely...

Love the veg burger here.

But contrary to the place's name, didn't like the sweets here Gulab Jamun: big NO for me tastes like self made at home, other things like Dilkhush cost more than other places but at the same time didn't like it/I could taste something floury. Like DDC lalmohan was lot thicker, tastier and cost much less/you could get lot more for the same price I think even half price. Same comparison with Bikaner sweets Dilkhush. Same feelings towards Samosa chat: cost lot more but was really less like won't get you quarter full let alone full, and not that mindblowing as per price. Paneer jalebi is alright.

But veg burger, hands down the best I've tried in Biratnagar among all...

Aagan Sweets is one of the best places in Biratnagar for a quick and satisfying breakfast or snack. Whether you're in the mood for samosa, chaat, panipuri, or sweets, this place has consistently good options. One of my personal favorites is their small matka rasmalai — it’s rich, fresh, and full of flavor. Aagan does a great job balancing quality and taste across their menu. It’s also one of the few places in Biratnagar where you can find good food early in the morning, which is a big plus. Clean setup, fast service, and fair pricing make it a reliable spot for locals and visitors alike. If you're in Biratnagar and craving something tasty, Aagan Sweets is definitely...

Vegetarian restaurant in biratnagar with lots of options for sweet and snacks. But this place is Overhyped. Prices are way expensive than it should be. I dont like the taste of snacks available in this restaurant especially their Dhosa. They charged alot for it but it tastes disgusting. I dont recommend eating Dhosa here. Although some of their sweets are good especially Jerry, barfi.
