Kapan Sekuwa — Restaurant in Budhanilkantha Municipality

The experience left a lot to be desired. Loud music from oversized speakers not only made conversation difficult but also literally damaged the printed A4 paper menu — which already looked cheap and worn. The menu photos were clearly pulled from the internet and didn’t reflect the actual food, yet prices were surprisingly high.

Service was careless. Drinks were served by hand, no trays used — even with filled beer glasses. There were no tissues or cutlery on the table unless you asked. And when they did bring “tissues,” they turned out to be rolls of toilet paper, which is just unacceptable in a dining setting.

There’s potential, but serious improvements are needed in both presentation...

Food is below average in terms of presentation as well as taste. The mutton sekuwa I tried was burnt on the outside but undercooked in the inside, too much chewy for that matter. French fries were undercooked. And fried rice was also bland for my taste. However, seating arrangement is good enough and parking is adequate for motorcycles. Sekuwa, for which this place is renowned, was a big letdown. I do not recommend this...
