Langjang Sekuwa & Thakali Bhansa — Restaurant in Dhulikhel

Langjang, with comfortable indoor seating and some outdoor space is one very good choice in Dhulikhel right by the side of highway, the sekuwa being the most favourite. I love the bhatti (fire oven) specially designed for preparing the best sekuwa you'll find anywhere. I also loved the dhindo there though service was quiet slow. Not to forget I loves the down facing speakers creating good vibes with 90s music while we were enjoying our drink after a tiring day.

I expect a bit better...

Solid food with a decent sunset view if you sit outside. And they have tongba, a regional drink made with fermented finger millet served hot. It's mildly boozy and tasted delicious, like sake. The mutton sekuwa took about 30 minutes to arrive since they had to get the wood fire going first, but it was well seasoned and had the skin on; worth the wait. Flavorful Mustang aloo. Was here to have a thakali set. Food was just average, couldn’t find any speciality. Service was good, staffs were nice and friendly. Ambience is also fine. Small and peaceful place. I hope they improve their quality of food but would love to visit again. Recommended to visit...
