Strandrestaurant Poortdok — Restaurant in Almere

We arrived early at beach planning already to have dinner at this place, we asked if was possible to make a reservation and they said that was not possible, when was time to eat we went there from the beach and all tables were reserved, first disappointment. Than we found a place to sit and we ordered our meal , we asked a burger for our daughter just meat and bread, they brought it wrong we asked to change and after 30 sec they came back with same burger just emptied from what was wrong but all the sauces were still there, we asked to make it again and they did , but at the end they charged 18,50€ for that burger( just meat and bread) we asked explanations and they just answer “is the way it is” this people can’t work in hospitality. Will never see us again....

Amazing location, definitely recommend for a summertime visit to Almere. Right by the beach. Friendly staff. We sat there for hours drinking cold beers, soda's, and wine, and enjoying a three course meal.

Food wasn't spectacular, it was fine though, and I think the menu has something for everyone. Normal pricing, as in, it was surprisingly cheap for a restaurant on such a great beach side location. I would love to come back for another...

Space with great quality. 5 star staff, very attentive, friendly and available. Fast table service and they also specialize in various drinks, beers, cocktails, variety of meals. Cozy space with a wide variety of meals. Located in front of the beach, it offers a breathtaking view of nature. I liked it and recommend it. Excellent price-quality ratio.
