Food is great, but the only issue I have is the speed. Don't come in on a busy day ever. The food takes long to prepare. If you have a big party, good luck with getting to what you ordered. Tonight was my going away party, and we invited 20 people. Some of the rounds never even came. I ordered a cone shaped sushi thing and it didn't even come(still waiting) and it has happened the last three rounds. It is great for a midday lunch if you work close by and it's not busy. I put down my phone while writing this for approximately 15 minutes, and it still hasn't come. Let's start counting It's now 7:02 this is the time of reference.(I ordered it at around 6:30.) 7:12 and still hasn't come
7:14 and it came, but I ordered 2 and only got 1. I also ordered 2 other sushi things and they haven't gotten a mention. Service: 4/10 Food: 7/10 Speed: 0/10 Location accessibility: 8/10 Overall: 5/10 Summary: the food is fine, the service is ok, the speed is absolutely horrendous and the location is easily accessible by metro and it has wheelchair access. If you have time to kill, and it isn't busy, then go ahead and...
Read moreWhat a disappointment! Where even to begin? The restaurant is severely understaffed. Despite having a reservation, you will have to wait 30 minutes in a packed stuffy hallway. Then someone brings you to a table with one torn menu for 5 guests and does not even bother to explain how things work. You are not made feel welcome at all. Waiting for each supposedly simple order takes an eternity. You get things that you didn’t order or don’t get your drink until after reminding them many times. Waiters are frankly rude and inconsiderate, just drop each plate on your table and run away. It’s crowded, loud and not atmospheric.
And as if this was not enough - the food is also totally disappointing. You get less than the picture indicates, and most of each dish is just plain salad leaves or rice. And all this costs more than one of much better competitors.
This restaurant is simply a failure....
Read moreNicely decorated place. The staff was nice at times, but quite rushed and distant. On the night we came here it was quite packed tho. The food was very nice but I would stay away from the sashimi and gunkan nigiri/tuna. The fish was probably laying there for a while, outside of any cooling place; it tasted very fishy, this is probably also the case for any other raw fish dishes. The sushi rice was very well seasoned. Furthermore, the baked mushrooms were very tasty. On the other hand, the fried fish was tasteless, the taste rather resembled the dough it was fried in. Overall, I was a little bit disappointed because this is a place that is quite well known around the area. I would only come back if I was asked to by a friend, but I wouldn’t go on my own initiative, there are certainly places that are better...
