در تاریخ بیست و هشت اکتبر، به همراه همسرم به رستوران کوروش بزرگ رفتیم متاسفانه هیچ کس برای خوشآمدگویی حظور نداشت و مجبور شدیم مدتی منتظر بمانیم. پس از آن شروع به جستجوی مکان برای نشستن کردیم، اما بیشتر صندلیها در وضعیت نامناسبی بودند و به سختی میشد جایی برای نشستن پیدا کرد. چون وضعيت وحشتناک صندليها میخورد تو چشمات ،و این فضای ناخوشایندی ایجاد ميکرد ، متوجه شدیم که بیشتر صندلیها وضعیت مناسبی ندارند و این باعث شد که حس خوبی نداشته باشیم. محیط رستوران به هیچ عنوان دلپذیر نبود و جایی برای استراحت یا لذت بردن از غذا وجود نداشت.
در ورودی رستوران از داخل به صورت وحشتناکی کثيف. اطراف پنجره رستوران گردغباری که به مدت خيلی زيادی تميز نشده. کنار پنجره رستوران صندوق نوشابه خالی……. سالادفصل اصلاً کیفیت مناسبی نداشت مثل اينکه يک بچه سالاد خورد کرده ريخته تو بشقاب. این مشکلات باعث شد که تجربهمان کاملاً تحت تأثیر قرار بگیرد.
امیدوارم که مدیریت این رستوران به این مسائل توجه کند تا بتواند تجربه بهتری برای مشتریان خود فراهم کند. این رستوران با توجه به تاریخ و نام بزرگی که دارد، باید بهطور جدی به بهبود کیفیت و فضای خود بپردازد تا مشتریان داخلی و خارجی بتوانند از حضور در آن لذت ببرند

Op 28 oktober gingen mijn vrouw en ik naar groot Cyrus restaurant, wat voor ons een heel belangrijke dag was. Toen we aankwamen, kwam er niemand naar ons toe en moesten we een tijdje wachten. Daarna begonnen we te zoeken naar een plek om te zitten, maar veel stoelen waren in slechte staat en het was moeilijk om een geschikte plek te vinden. Sommige stoelen waren zelfs kapot, wat een onaangename sfeer creëerde.
Toen we uiteindelijk een plek vonden, merkten we dat de meeste stoelen niet in goede staat waren, wat ons geen prettig gevoel gaf. De omgeving van het restaurant was ook helemaal niet gezellig, en er was geen plek waar we konden ontspannen of van het eten konden genieten.
Hoewel het eten goed was, was de salade absoluut niet van goede kwaliteit. Deze problemen hebben onze ervaring sterk beïnvloed.
Ik hoop dat het management van dit restaurant deze zaken serieus neemt, zodat ze een betere ervaring kunnen bieden voor hun klanten. Dit restaurant heeft een belangrijke naam en geschiedenis, en het zou moeten zorgen voor een aangename ervaring voor zowel lokale als buitenlandse bezoekers.

On October 28th, my wife and I went to a Persian restaurant Cyrus the Great, which was a very important day for us. When we arrived, no one came to greet us, and we had to wait for a while. After that, we started looking for a place to sit, but many of the chairs were in poor condition, making it difficult to find a suitable spot. Some chairs were even broken, which created an unpleasant atmosphere.
When we finally found a place to sit, we noticed that most of the chairs were not in good condition, which made us feel uncomfortable. The environment of the restaurant was also not cozy at all, and there was no place where we could relax or enjoy our food.
Although the food was good, the salad was absolutely not of good quality. These issues greatly affected our experience.

I don’t know if I should complain about service since the waiters were polite, but lacked communication skills (no english, with focus on arabic). That ruined our experience partly because we ordered 2 separate platters for 2 people but we were served 3, without intimation. If they had some common sense, they would know we can’t eat that much. So, we had to get the other platter packed up right away. Portions were big enough, however, quite expensive. We ended up paying over €85 for 2-person meal. Kindof surprise for us, since we’ve eaten at better places within Amsterdam Centrum for much lesser. Also, there wasn’t parity between cost printed on menu vs what we were charged. I’m not sure if I was overcharged but no point in asking since they couldn’t speak English. As for food, expected some flavor.
