A little way West I found this absolute gem. The location is wonderful, not too far to go but far enough to be away from all the noise of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful explaining the menu items. The food was good and not expensive, but these aren't the reason for the 5 star review. I hesitate to make this review because I feel like I've discovered a secret, and I want to keep it for myself... The overall vibe I got from the place is almost magical, with lanterns hanging from the trees above the natural forest path and a car being reclaimed by mother nature. We sat back relining on giant bean bag seats among the trees looking out across a field with dragonflies darting around over the (I don't know the right name) sloot/canal/gracht. Although we were there all afternoon and into the evening we were never bothered by the staff, after our initial order nobody came unless we indicated. Staff was completely overwhelmed as they seemed very inexperienced, menu expensive, nacho chips were stale and cold, cocktails were €12,50 (!) and came with the softest pour I’ve ever tasted. Literally less than half a shot.
