Great fries, can recommend BUT the old guy made me pay 6€ more than the receipt said. When I noticed that and asked him for the right receipt he said "yea, that's the wrong one" but refused to give me the right one urging me to look for it IN THE BIN. It was just a random receipt. He also couldn't replicate the sum I actually paid. That was fishy. He was a real j3rk.

Ik belde Eiburgh snacks om een zak met friet te bestellen. Ik werd in eerste instantie onvriendelijk benaderd voordat ik mijn bestelling had geplaatst, omdat er ook andere klanten waren. De bestelling voor een zak friet voor twee personen werd daarna wel geplaatst, omdat de bestelling 'klein genoeg' was. Toen ik eenmaal bij Eiburgh snacks aankwam, kwam ik er tot mijn verbazing achter dat een zak friet voor twee personen 4.90 (!) kostte. Om dat in perspectief te plaatsen, kan je daar twee goed gevulde porties friet mét saus bij de Macdonalds kopen. Omdat de zak friet al bereid was, besloot ik toch om te betalen. Toen ik eenmaal thuis kwam en de friet begon te eten, was het leeuwendeel veel te erg doorgebakken en ook al koud. Er waren zelf meerdere frietjes die aan elkaar plakten (zie foto). Samengevat: je betaalt veel te veel geld voor friet wat echt niet te eten is: 4.90 voor een zak friet wat veel te erg doorgrbakken is en aan elkaar plakt. Een áfrader dus!

I don’t often leave reviews in the middle of eating but this is one of those magical places you just happen to bump into completely by chance. And it immediately becomes your place to come back to. Strongly recommend the beef stew.

Best snackbar or typical Dutch fast food venue in Amsterdam. It's a weird place. They operate from a post apocalyptical caravan-esque setup with a container attached. You eat outside, under tent material to keep you dry from rain. Quite an adventurous experience. And then the food... Amazing snacks! A lot even is self made! An old friendly geezer cuts the fries fresh from the potatoes, which are of a kind that makes caramelish light brown chips... Love them! I often drive all they way from wherever to just eat fast food here. You...

The food here is shockingly bad. Not much concern for occupational health and safety with food sitting out of the fridge all day and cigarettes behind the counter. Also, don't know what the all the fuss is about, the hot chips that I received were literally the crumbs from the bottom of the fryer. I think I got about 25 grams of actual potato. Anyway, not...
