Crazy Italian — Restaurant in Apeldoorn

Visited the place on the 09/03/2025; the waitress was very nice and polite she made me feel welcomed. I have seen in other reviews complains regarding the service, which I guess depends on the individual experience, but based on what I have seen it's good. I only tasted pizza and tiramisu the other day; they are both quite good. For the pizza, you have the option to change the base from tomato sauce to pesto or to something else (probably to nothing; I do not remember exactly). The drinks are nice there, Limoncello is Limoncello-ing enough. The place has a lovely atmosphere. I don't know who the interior designers were, but they did a great job! It looks spacious, the lights create a slightly intimate atmosphere at night, and the toilets on the 2nd floor are modern and functional; I have learned to appreciate that. We hebben hier vanavond gegeten, zou een grand opening zijn met live muziek, was een gezellig sfeertje, maar de muziek stond wel veel te hard. Het was erg moeilijk om contact te krijgen met de bediening. Er werd een borrelplankje aangeboden maar die kregen wij niet, zelfs na 3x vragen kwam hij niet door. Diverse keren zelf naar de bediening toe moeten lopen om te vragen of we wat mochten bestellen. Inmiddels na anderhalf uur zitten en met een half slapend kind aan tafel kregen we de bestelling, maar de kinderpizza ontbrak, vervolgens werd die bezorgd maar zonder de gevraagde salami. Er zat een salade bij als hoofdgerecht maar was meer een bijgerechtje, vooral de gekarameliseerde vijgen was de reden dat ik die besteld had, maar er zat geen vijg in. Terug gestuurd en kwam het vervolgens terug met een paar gedroogde vijgen erop gepleurd. Heb de salade maar helemaal terug gestuurd en met de pizza van de kinderen mee gegeten, die overigens wel lekker was. Helaas waren de calzones koud van binnen en de kaas niet gesmolten.
