Steaks & Sushi Mykonos Asten — Restaurant in Asten

Extremely disappointing experience.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this one was unavoidable. The prices at this restaurant are excessively high, and the value is simply not there. The portions were laughably small—honestly, I’ve seen more food served to a two-year-old. For what we paid, it felt like a complete rip-off.

On top of that, the staff was clearly incompetent. We were brought the wrong dishes multiple times, and when we politely tried to correct them, they were defensive and refused to admit any fault—even when it was obvious they were wrong.

The whole experience was frustrating and uncomfortable. There’s no accountability, no professionalism, and no understanding of basic customer service. It’s clear they don’t subscribe to the principle that the customer is always right.

I won’t be returning, and I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone expecting decent food, fair prices, or respectful service.

I had a wonderful evening, the dinner was healthy and very Mediterranean. The atmosphere is unbeatable. They served me delicious pata negra ham and a sublime Kleoni Greek white wine as a starter. The main dish was a tender and flavorful beef tenderloin 200gr. And as desert, they recommended me a truly delicious banana banoffee paired with a very unique coffee. I went to dinner alone but felt very well accompanied. Thanos and the rest of the waiters made me feel at home at all times. I ended up making friends with the table next to me: Madelon, Rowy, and Manuel gave me tons of good advices on getting to know the area better, since I just moved here for work. It was my first time at Mykonos, but I definitely plan to come back...
