We had lunch at Wijntje today and it didnt disappoint. Food quality was very good and service was exceptional. Photos show the carpaccio and the salmon toasty. Coffee was made very well and tasted good. The whole decor and atmosphere was fitting with the level of service and would reccomend to my friends and family.

In Voorthuizen heb je tegenwoordig redelijk wat restaurants en op een mooie zondagavond was het tijd voor Wijntje. Als je binnenloopt dan denk je meteen, leuke trendy plek. Wij begonnen met o.a. champignons, eendenborst en een trio van vis. Nou lieve mensen, de eerst high five was ook snel verdiend. De hoofdgerechten zorgde dan voor een enorme lach op een ieder zijn of haar gezicht. De tournedos of het wild, beide grote klasse. Tot slot de toetjes en daar ging het bijna mis. De crème brulee van oreo vonden wij een misser, maar gelukkig maakte de eclair gevuld met witte chocolade mousse en de cheesecake van likeur 42 alles goed. Yes dit willen we proeven. En Wijntje zou Wijntje niet zijn als er ook een aantal alleraardigste flessen wijn op het menu stonden. Prijs kwaliteit in orde. Kortom lieve mensen, rij een stukje om want dit restaurant in Voorthuizen is meer dan de moeite waard (ook de lunch is zalig).

Lekker gegeten in een gezellige en ontspannen sfeer. Mooie gerechten die gebracht worden door bediening die zichtbaar plezier hebben in het werk wat ze doen. Vooraf gekozen voor eendenborstfilet, was erg lekker met een mooie zachte rooksmaak. Als hoofdgerecht gekozen voor de combinatie van wild, fazant en hert. Hoofdgerecht komt met een frisse salade en friet. Erg lekker allemaal. Tafelgenoot had vooraf de champignons in bierbeslag met dordogne saus. Was lekker en een flinke portie. Als hoofdgerecht de vis van de dag, gegrilde tonijn. Ook dat beviel goed. Bij het eten is er een mooie gevarieerde wijnkaart en ook de speciaal bierkaart is divers en er staan ook lokale bieren op. Het restaurant heeft een warme inrichting en er zijn hoge en lage tafels. Verder kun je ook in een serre of buiten op het terras zitten. Het was op deze zaterdagavond helemaal vol dus reserveren is handig.

It has a good atmosphere and is a great place for drinks or if you are in no rush. Service is incredibly slow and inefficient due to junior staff (the bartender looked like he was 13..., the kitchen staff also looked like teenagers...). No one bothered to give us menus and we had to ask for them when they brought us drinks 15 min later, dishes took 40 mins to come out. Overall dinner took almost 2.5 hours for just a...

Great restaurant, with amazing food. The service is above and beyond. So far the best place in Netherlands we’ve visited. We’ve been here for a five times already and every time the experience is for 5 stars! We had a few waiters serving us so far, all of them did great job. Very fast and efficient.
