Maçaroca Restaurant Bonaire — Restaurant in Bonaire

Not worth the bad service and length of time it takes. We arrived at 7:30, didn’t get menus until after half hour late and didn’t get food until at least 2 hours later. Food was cold, cold 3 small pieces of cold lamb sirloin, cold chicken and tuna was barely seared. Did I mention everything was cold?

We ordered wine and they brought the bottle opened to the table and out of a freezer.

We were one of three tables, no large parties, servers couldn’t handle a table without kitchen staff.

Ordered a gin and tonic, got a ginger tonic.

We refused to eat, requested the bill. We were told the server was unavailable to give us the check until she finished a task. At this point we demanded the check and they threatened to call the police multiple times.

We paid the full check and left all the food on the table, went home and ate cold pizza from the spot next door which was actually fabulous.
