Cocktails are sugary but great. The view and breeze are nice if you can sit by the edge- but that requires a reservation, even on a Tuesday night lol! No you cannot sit at any of those empty tables, they are reserved for whenever those people show up- we sat and looked at empty tables by the edge for about an hour while we sweated away from the breeze in the back and where people passed by from their apartments in bathing suits and dripping from the beach. Ambiance!
The ‘catch of the day’ was tuna, and there’s a tuna steak also on the menu- I asked what the difference was and it was that the tuna steak on the menu is frozen and the catch of the day is ‘fresh,’ so I ordered that. Didn’t even occur they didn’t ask how I’d like it done until it came out looking like it was cooked like a smash burger- totally dry, overcooked, stringy somehow, and I was pulling bones and scales out of my mouth after some bites. I managed to eat it with the sauce they provided on the side which was good. The ‘fried vegetables’ side was really good fresh peppers and onions sautéed fajita-like, which made the tuna even more disappointing. Fries and wedges were good, but clearly from frozen and the price here is just too high for what the quality is- you’re here for the view and cocktails, just make a reso or sweat it out with half a view unless you happen to ask to sit elsewhere- if those tables aren’t also reserved 😂

We visited Bahia Apartments Restaurant for a dinner while staying in Lagoon Ocean Resort villa in February 2023. It was our first dining experience on Curacao. The restaurant overlooks the lagoon and provides gorgeous views so just being seated there is already enjoyable. The food was pretty good and portions were generous. All entrees were somewhat over salted though which was a bit disappointing. The service was polite and proper but quite slow. However, as we learned later during our stay on the island this pace was a standard for Curacao :) Nobody is in a hurry there:)
Appetizers: Bitterballen - tasty Goat cheese salad - excellent
Mains: Tuna Steak - we got two of these, ordered medium rare. One was indeed medium rare and one had about 1/3 almost well-done. They were fresh and good. Pasta Alfredo - well-made and tasty. Catch of The Day (grilled mahi-mahi) - fresh and good. If not the over salting all the entrees could get 5 stars.
Drinks: We ordered a couple of cocktails. Both seemed like somebody forgot to add alcohol... And again during our stay on Curacao we learned it's generally a standard practice there. It's better to opt for beer or some straight liquor rather than mixed drinks.
Overall, we can recommend this restaurant for good food and great views if you are...
Read moreMany better places to eat in curacao. Sirloin steak was fatty and not even edible. When we complained, having the 3 people in our party that ordered the steak say the same thing, they took off a very small amount. The salad that was supposed to come with the meal didn't come. When we asked about that, there wasn't salad that day. Seriously? It was supposed to come with the meal. Service incredibly slow. No one came to check on us at all. Super disappointing to spend over $100 and have food taste so bad and such poor service. Edit. Not sure who Max is in the restaurant's response. And pretty disappointed in the response. Yes, it was busy AFTER we were seated. Unfortunately, no one took our drink order for 20 minutes and we waited for an hour for our food that ended up being terrible. I would expect a restaurant to stand behind their food and service. Neither of which this restaurant did. The views were beautiful, but not worth it. The food and service were wonderful at Discover Lagun next door. Highly recommend heading there instead as is mentioned in some...
