I recently had an unfortunate dining experience at a restaurant that left me quite disappointed. From the moment we arrived, the staff's attitude was rude and unwelcoming. Despite this, we decided to go ahead and place our order.
To our surprise, the waiter informed us that the kitchen would be closing in just one hour. It felt like a rush to order, and we were not given ample time to browse through the menu or make an informed decision. This sense of urgency made us feel uncomfortable.
We specifically requested a piña colada, but after waiting for about 30 minutes, we were informed that they didn't have the ingredients to make it. It was frustrating to wait for such a long time only to be told that they were unable to fulfill our order. What made matters worse was that they still included the piña colada on our bill, despite not serving it to us.
Furthermore, the food we received was disappointingly cold. It seemed as though it had been sitting out for quite some time, and the taste was lackluster. We expected our meal to be fresh and hot, but it felt like we were served leftovers.
Adding to the list of grievances, we discovered that the Coca-Cola we ordered was actually diluted with water. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they admitted that they had run out of Coca-Cola and had substituted it with tap water. Although they claimed to have just changed the tap water, it was not a suitable replacement for the soda we had ordered.
To top it all off, the bill we received was incorrect. When we pointed out the errors, the staff responded with an unpleasant attitude and tried to argue instead of rectifying the mistake promptly. This lack of professionalism only added to our overall dissatisfaction with the experience.
In conclusion, my dining experience at this restaurant was marred by rude staff, a rushed ordering process, unavailability of menu items, cold and subpar food, diluted beverages, and an incorrect bill. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a pleasant...

We did not have a reservation when we approached the near empty restaurant at 1830 and were quickly seated at a non reserved table on the terrace part of the establishment. Due to the slight breeze tonight I asked the lady, who I assumed to be the host as she was stood at the front entrance, if there was a possibly that me and my boyfriend could move inside as I was cold and uncomfortable. There was near to 40 seats and no one sitting inside so I thought this would be possible. She said no and there was no other attempt to help me. So I walked to the car where I retrieved a towel and proceeded to sit and wait for our food with it wrapped around my shoulders. (With 4 different servers coming to the table and seeing me sit there with a towel around me I was so surprised no one asked if I was okay or tried to relocate us).
Drink order was forgotten, beef skewers were deep fried and dry, when we assumed they would be barbecued. Then the Red Thai curry with shimp, the rice was recent but I had to fish out the shimp and deshell them myself, messy business to say the least with only 1 napkin per person on the table. The dishes had large pieces of chilli and garlic that needed to be avoided as we were not provided knives to cut them into more eatable bite sizes.
And to top it all off, when we were paying, only one group of 4 people arrived to sit inside, so in fact there was ample time and opportunity for the host to have sat 2 people inside where I would have been more comfortable and not have to sit there looking stupid with a towel draped over me.
Tonight Bali was unsatisfactory in quality of service. The food was not to Asian standards in flavour or freshness. My boyfriend and I will not be dining here again nor will we bring any of our large extended family.
Staff needs to be trained in guest satisfaction and kitchen could be better with not cutting corners...
Read moreI suppose if your not use to great Thai food you may think these flavors are great just because these different. However real good Thai food is unbelievably good which this doesn't come close.
We ordered Satay Ajan ( chicken skewer) the taste was right but the chicken was tough as nails.
Vegetarian Spring Rools- I was looking for the vegetable and at the end I found something. Just wrapping a wrapper does not really constitute a Vegetarian spring roll, really!
Thai Red Curry Chicken; where was the sauce let alone the flave of coconut milk and lemongrass. It was like they had thick chunks of chicken precooked and trough it into some type of sauce which you didn't have enough to put on rice. Let alone the chicken once again was tough as nails. Are you using roosters?
Security Daging Bali (beef tenderloin with coconut milk, lemongrass and lime leaves etc) My husband and I cook with tenderloin often and this beef was tough as nails and the sauce, or should I say what sauce, no sauce let alone again what you say coconut milk and lemongrass once again
Last but not least. Chicken Pad Thai. Words escape me and I feel I've said enough.
What a waste of money. This is...
