Lemongrass @ Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort — Restaurant in Curaçao

Has beautiful view overseeing the golf course of blue bay, but the service of some of the staff are very rude and also very avoiding, you will have to wait very long to receive the menu card.

The Prices of the menu card online are not the correct prices, they do not correspond with the actual price on the menu card they have there. Certain things are very overpriced for example bottle of wine which normally cost you only around 8 euro(see picture), cost you there 77 guilders which is about triple the price.

Afgelopen zondag ben ik samen met mijn beste vriendin gaan brunchen bij Lemongrass @ Blue Bay. Bij aankomst kregen we direct een tafel. De plek is werkelijk prachtig, met een geweldig uitzicht en zachte muziek op de achtergrond.

We werden geholpen door de lieve en charmante serveerster Rachelle. Wat een topper! Zij zorgde met zoveel aandacht en warmte voor ons. We gaven aan dat we niet gehaast waren en rustig wilden genieten, en Rachelle begreep dat perfect. Dankzij haar hadden we een fantastische start van onze brunchervaring.

Helaas sloeg de sfeer om zodra Rachelle pauze moest nemen en manager Aidee haar verving. Voor een manager was haar houding verre van gastvrij. Ze bleef ons tafel voortdurend onderbreken met de vraag of we al klaar waren, alsof we zo snel mogelijk moesten vertrekken. Daarnaast liet ze ons volledig aan ons lot over; mijn vriendin moest zelfs naar haar toe lopen om drankjes te bestellen.

Nog teleurstellender was hoe ze haar eigen personeel behandelde. Voor onze ogen trok ze de pinautomaat uit de handen van Rachelle – iets dat niet alleen onprofessioneel maar ook ronduit respectloos was. Bovendien spreekt Aidee enkel Spaans, wat voor een manager op een internationale locatie als Blue Bay eigenlijk onacceptabel is.

Complimenten voor Rachelle, zij maakte ons bezoek onvergetelijk. Maar Blue Bay zou serieus moeten overwegen of Aidee wel de juiste persoon is om het management van zo’n prachtige plek te...

Our foursome had two delicious meals here with attentive service! We stopped in and enjoyed their Shrimp Madness night. The coconut and spicy shrimp dishes were excellent. The cocktail menu was varied and one person in our party loved her mojito! The second meal was a Friday night and the schnitzels, coq au vin, and salmon were satisfying and tasty!
