Eetcafé Van Miltenburg — Restaurant in De Bilt

What a bad experience. We sat down at 18:00 with a reservation, we were not given menus to choose our food nor drinks. 1h later we were able to order, another 30 min later we were told that there was not enough jackfruit burger and we had to change our order. Food finally arrived at 20:30 and we had to send back one of the chicken since it was red raw. Every dish should come with salad and fries, they merged them into 2 slightly bigger portions for the table, so everyone only had a tiny tiny portion of sides.

Also, there was no drink service, we had to go to the bar and carry our own beers /water.

A true hidden gem. Excellent food, old-fashioned and relaxed atmosphere. Affordable prices. Great coffee, italian style. Pool tables. Welcoming staff. Authentic dutch pub experience. Locals come here, but it's also a favored spot among politicians and bicycle tourists. Clean. Terrace in the back yard. 5/5 will definitely go again.. and probably...

I've went to this place a couple of times. You can reserve tables, or just come for a spontaneous couple of drinks and snacks. The staff is kind and helpful.
