Ollie's coffee and more — Restaurant in De Ronde Venen

We visited here with several friends. When we chose to pay for our coffee and toasts with the card, the owner passed the card machine which was set as 'tip' mode and I put my PIN code which was automatically recognized as the additional tip. The owner neither asked if we were willing to pay a tip, nor there was any service because it is a take-out (to-go) cafe on street. It seems an intentional cheating to a foreigner or stranger to the cafe. His attitude was not good and the coffee itself was not bad but expensive with a small quantity. We had a lovely stop at the Ollie’s cafe.

The atmosphere of this corner cafe is very cute and cozy!

The lady who served us was very sweet, kind, and friendly.

The quality of the offered products is very good and all the cakes very fresh and well made. We tried the walnut cake and it was delicious.

Also, we had lunch. Both options (with tuna and chicken fillet) were nice.

Additionally, the products that are used are ethically sourced from the local area.

Incredible ambience and vibes, nice staff and well prepared lattes with home made stellar pastries.

This has been a great discovery in a village close to Amsterdam, with a well designed and cozy place managed by great people.

The coffees and lattes we ordered were among the best I ever tried and the pastries were just delicious (I wanted to taste them all !)
