We were with a group of six and were placed at a very unconfortable round table just at the entrance door. One person was placed on the sofa almost behind a wall. This angle was also the place for the storage of the wine coolers. We waited for one hour before we got a first piece or bread. The wines (costly bottles) were placed at the table opened at the bar with the cork put back in it. We were not asked to taste the wine. The menu was quite complex to understand and also the staff had difficulty in understanding what we ordered as we had quite some converstations during the dinner about who ordered what. It all took way too long. We arrived at 18.30 and at 22.00 we finished the 4 course menu. What we see as the main feedback: the food is of high quality and very tasty, but the menu is way too complex to understand because there is not a real difference between starters, pasta and main courses, so everyone is eating something different and you see on a table of 6 the same dishes coming back 4 times. Not an interesting thing to see. The staff is not skilled to work in a reastaurant of this level. It's like you are in a steak restaurant or similar and their is no knowledge of what they are doing. They are kind, that's not the feedback, but they are way too young. We haven't seen anyone looking responsable as well for the restaurant. There should be much more attention for the restaurant in general. The place should be painted and cleaned. The toilets were absolutely dirty and for a stylish place like this you would expect something different. It's a shame, as with more real attention from management this place could be a very special one, but after this experience we will not visit this...
Read moreWe had the 6-course Christmas dinner and the food was amazingly delicious, original and beautifully plated. Cannot fault anything at all about the food. It was very special, especially for Christmas Eve.
The service, however, was appalling even by local standards. We each ordered a glass of red wine and once our glasses were empty, no one offered to refill for 90 minutes. Not kidding. By that time we said it was too late. No bread was served for the first hour, the server forgot to bring the sparkling water we ordered. When asked if we had dietary restrictions, I indicated that I do not eat red meat. This was interpreted as meaning that I do not eat "rare" meat, so the course that involved venison was served to me well-done. We had to explain that venison is red meat and I don't eat it regardless of how it's cooked. Thankfully the chef prepared me a beautiful piece of fish in 4 minutes.
The entire dinner took 3 1/2 hours. Again the food was so good, but for 85 euros per person, one expects impeccable service and we did not get that. The lighting is also not really nice if you happen to be sitting under the high-hat lights, hence the points off...

Through the courses the veggies were all repeated, with old aspect, rotten flavor and dead shrunken flowers The duck was chewy like plastic and the sauce burn taste.
