Deutsch weiter unten. Eating at this restaurant was a total disaster!! The first plates of food were at the table pretty quick, which is the only good thing I can say here. Maybe the female waitress.. she was very nice to us and tried to translate the food on the menu card as it is only written in dutch. But from now on unfortunately it goes on negatively... First of all, not all the guests received their food at the same time, 10 min later the next plates finally came. One person on our table had ordered a simple plate of fries, which she did never received, even after asking for it again, twice. My sparerips were totally burned, the meat was chewing gum and they had some questionable hard bits of bone or something else in it. My side of fries, vegetables and salad was never brought to the table. Also asked for it, twice. My girlfriend ordered the same side dish. What she received was completely unsalted fries, a "bowl of mayonnaise" with about two leafs of salad and green beans without any seasoning. Her chicken satay was already cold. The garnish greens on our plates weren't green anymore, as in half rotten... She scraped of something from her chicken satay and after eating half the chicken (not because it was eatable, but because we were starving.) we realized this hard stuff, was a dead and dry snail !!! Disgusting!! Even though we were so angry and frustrated about what we received (and did not receive) here, we still managed to speak politely with the male waiter of the evening. We suggested we only pay for the drinks and the two burgers, (which two of our boys of the group had) which also weren't delicious, but eaten, because very hungry. He agreed very quickly and left to get the bill. As he arrived, he said he took the sparerips off the bill, but he wanted money for the fries we never received and for the chicken satay with the side of SNAIL. We explained to him again, that we are not going to pay for the food which we did not eat, because it was disgusting. He agreed to take both of it off the invoice. When he realized, we were not going to pay as a group of 7, but 4 people would pay, (as we told him, before he left to get the bill!) he got very angry, probably cursed at us in dutch, as we did not understand what he said, he crumbled up the invoice and threw it on the floor. I paid for my drink and it is a freaking shame I did not realized what happened next!!... The two men at the end of our table (keep in mind these two men do not speak english and/or have never been in the Netherlands before this day.) unknowingly, PAID for the whole table!! So, this male server in the garden restaurant on Saturday, 22nd of July 2017, seriously was THAT brazen, that he told the men, they had to pay over 30.- EUR each. They thought; hm, that's quite expensive for only two drinks and a burger, but did not realize the burger was only 9.- EUR each. SOAB!!! Congratulations, male waiter! I was not going to write all of this, but this outrageous impundence is just not what I am going to take, without letting you and unfortunately your boss' restaurant, feel the consequences! I honestly can not believe the impertinence of this act!!

We went spontaneous on a Friday evening. It was full but there are a lot of seats available. Service was friendly and fairly fast. The Burger served with fries tasted good even tho the bread was to soft for my taste. Schnitzel on the other hand was a bit though but tasty. They have chairs for children and even little cars where the kids can sit on. The table next to us still had straws and napkins on there from the guests that been there before us. It wasn't really dirty but these leftovers have not been cleaned up during the duration of our visit. We liked...

Food: i had a cheese burger and it was below average i would not recommend it at all. for desert i got the choco dream icecream, and for some reason they added slagroom double the amount of the icecream so i would advice to adjust the ratios there.

Staff: friendly staff, fast preparation of our orders during the peak hours.

Prices: Reasonable prices for a restaurant in the city centre

overall, it is a decent place to set with friends and have drinks but i would not recommend to have...
