De Watertoren - Hotel & Restaurant — Restaurant in Dordrecht

So we arrived at around 7pm on Sunday evening...following a 6hr ferry journey & hour drive with a 5 year old who was very hungry. Whilst the kitchen had clearly been "put to bed for the night" when we asked were they still serving food technically they still were for an hour. We ordered pasta for 3 ..anything which was easy and we were not disappointed - amazing food (Thank You I know we were late) The room and beds were incredibly comfortable - we booked via a 3rd party so they only had a booking for 2 adults (no child) but we were offered a cot. Fabulous shower. My only thought would be if the curtains did actually cover the whole window. The breakfast was delicious ..ham; cheese; croissants; bread rolls; cereal; freshly squeezed orange juice; tea; coffee - you could not want for a better start to the day. Again we only were registered for 2 and the lovely chap put extra breakfast for our daughter. I should mention the wild life which is in abundance - binoculars on the window sills so you can truly appreciate this. Thank You Hotel de Watertoren - we...

We had dinner at the Watertoren a couple of weeks ago, we set outside in their courtyard and had a very enjoyable evening with wonderful food and attentive staff. ||This place if perfect for lunch or dinner or just a coffee on the way. The dinner card is not large, but the food was excellent and where possible ingredients are sourced locally. ||The waiting staff were very attentive and although it was busy we were well looked after. The waiter even replaced our red wine as due to the high temperatures the red wine in the bar had gotten a bit too warm :-). ||We did not stay the night at the hotel, however the setting is lovely and it is a perfect place for people...
