We went there without reservation and they found a table for us without waiting. Concept is to have rounds of order - 2 choices per person per round. No limit what to order - from starters to desserts all can be selected. Kids have special options but also not limited, they can taste also from adult options. Let’s review the restaurant: 1- Taste: Some of the food was really delicious such as mushroom with bread, knoflook gamba skewer, hamburger, ravioli. Some of them was average such as kebab, vegeterian wellington and indian pani puri. I should mention specificly desserts, we ordered 6 different ones and all of them was really delicious! 2- Service: It was saturday evening and really busy but I guess they should be prepared more. We had to remind them bread, 2nd drinks etc. In addition to that, I asked new cutlery for 2nd round and waiter stated that they expect us to keep 1 cutlery on all rounds. Sauces are different and it kills the unique taste of the food. I could understand to keep it in the same round but between rounds, it is definitely against culinary art. Apart from that, everyone was very kind, smiling, friendly and asking continuosly whether everything is good or not etc. 3- Kids experience: They brought a paint paper with crayon set and said that if you complete this paper, you can get a candy bag inside. My daughter was really busy all the time to complete it. Candy bag was also promising. 4- Price: It was cheap compared to other restaurants we went. 3 round selections was 24.90 pp for me and my wife and 16.90 for my daugher. With 6 drinks and water, we end up around 90 EUR. I would recommend if you would like to taste different food with smaller portions in a...
Read moreWith a party of four, we enjoyed the evening at 't Zusje. The food was great. The desert with bastogne cookies and icecream was a highlight of the evening. Never the less, four stars. Tapas: Per round you can order two dishes per person. If one person orders five rounds and the others of the company only four, everybody will be charged for five rounds. Paying for rounds they did not get. That is just not acceptable under any circumstances, it does not make any sense at all and is probably also illegal. We arrived around 18:00 and we left at 23:00; I think we had 7 rounds of dishes. Above 5 rounds the prices are maximized to the price of five rounds, so this silly rule is just what it is - silly. What is also not ok is that 0.7 liters of tap water in a carafe costs €4.60. Previous reviews also mentioned this - it is nuts to sell tap water for the price of beer. Previous reviews also mentioned that the number of rounds per hour was low - for us it did not feel that way. We received a round about every 30 minutes for the entire evening.
Staff was very young but made no errors. Athmosphere was great, but several companies were talking very, very loudly.
If you don't fall for the traps of the carafe of water and the charging of rounds that you did not get, 't Zusje is highly...
Read moreI HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU MAKE A RESERVATION, SINCE THIS IS A VERY POPULAR DINNING LOCATION 😄👌
This was a brand new experience for me. Having a dinner date suited for a very roomy budget you are served "All-you-can-eat" tapas for what I believe is an unending period of time (depending on what time of day you choose to dine.)
You engage with the friendly staff as they guide you to your table. You are handed these fill-in menu cards which you can mark to select which dishes you want to try. Whereas you order the drinks directly with the host or waiter.
Your menu card will be collected in due time and you'll be enjoying fresh, both carnivorous and vegetarian pallet friendly foods!
Once you're done with your current round, simply fill in the next card and start all over again!
The restaurant looks very fancy but offers a casual/high-end vibe. We were treated very well and happily ate, drank, and enjoyed the experience for about 3 hours.
I highly recommend this place for a date night, a celebration, or any special occasion!
