De Werf Enkhuizen — Restaurant in Enkhuizen

This place is victim of its own success. Let's start with the good bits. The menu is extensive with good selection of beers. Now to the not so good things. On saturday late evening the place was relatively busy. The service was awful. a) no-one talk to us for good 10 minutes. b) the food we have ordered did not arrived by the time we have finished our drinks.

Now I can say something positive, there was no issue with cancelling the food from the bill and but also no apology.

And the last thing, the bar is on the wrong side of the harbour: a) the wind from the lake is blowing in your face, making you really cold b) the bar is on the bend so the view of the harbour is limited.

We had been to the Zuiderzee Museum (great experience btw) in town and wanted to enjoy the sun with a nice beer. We found this place and it was absolutely amazing! We were served by the greatest waiter (the receipt says it was Joris), he was always available when we needed him, he gave great advice and even gave us a tour of the brewery (which is actually in the same building - very cool). He certainly new his stuff, and made the whole experience extraordinary! Strongly recommend to give them a visit - and please drink more than...

Leuke locatie met prachtig buitenterras...jammer is dat ik hier geen volle bierglazen uit de tap komen....! Minstens een dikke vinger onder de 0,5 streep...jaaahh..zegt de kelner...dat komt nog wel door het schuim... natuurlijk niet!! Ben naar binnen gegaan en er werd kommentaarloos na getapt...met een flesje overigens Vandaag maar weer eens een tapbiertje gedronken...alles prima... perfekt! Dit keer een vriendelijke oberkelner en ik kreeg een klein tafeltje voor mij alleen....20.05.2022 na een bier wilde ik nog een hebben ...mijn leeg glas stond ca. 30minuten op het randje...44x liep de bediening langs mij heen zonder ook maar te kijken of te vragen.... waardeloos! Uiteindelijk kwam de vriendelijke oberkelner....maar geen medelijden...naja...ga zo maar door ..... 25.06.23 , op het oog voldoende personeel, Maar : bediening loopt maar langs ons tafeltje zonder bestelling op te nemen....uiteindelijk Spareribs; redelijke portie maar niet echt viel, geen schaaltje voor botjes, geen verfrissingsdoekje voor de vingers, geen vraag of het smaakt etc. Lege bordjes werden niet opgehaald, dus zelf Maar op andere tafel gezet🤷naja😞 Dit keer was alles...
