Porto Vecchio — Restaurant in Enkhuizen

A superb location and wonderful ambiance. The food was light and extremely well flavoured, you knew you were in the company of quality professionals As my treat I told them of my search for the best tiramisu in Europe ( and I have savoured a lot ) While many restaurants have at this point confessed that they " buy their sweets from third parties " these guys confidently stated their tiramisu is home made and we're confident that they would make a challenge.

Only the location alongside the harbour makes this restaurant worthwhile visiting while the food is only average and the manager (slow service) pretends to be Italian to blend in but in reality is not. Expensive (about 25-35 euros per person for a pizza and a couple of drinks, so more than Paris, but then in Enkhuizen eating out is not very good value for money, but the beautiful scenery and history makes the town well...

First we were waiting to order drinks and at least to get the menu cards, then we were waiting for our drinks and to order food, then we were waiting for our food for like an hour. The girl who was the waitress was alone for like 30 tables and I think there were supposed to be at least 3 waiters for this amount of people.
