Dejima — Restaurant in Haarlem

We are staunch sushi eaters all over the country and this place (DeJiMa) is incredible.. We had Torpedo shrimps that were fresher and from fish markets and the Futomaki was for both myself and my wife hands down the best sushi we have had. There was no dryness to the rice and the seawead wrapping and the salmon and tuna was just so juicy and tasty.. we were both in shock.. Then the poke bowls we had (Ebi and Salmon) had such lovely salmon in it.. great amount of sauce too.. but the best was the futomaki... go get it...

Eravamo in due e abbiamo ordinato il menu famiglia con 52 pezzi. L’abbiamo poi preso da portare a casa, ma volendo è disponibile il servizio a domicilio col fattorino. La qualità è molto buona e i pezzi sono anche grandi, così è possibile sfamarsi con poco. Il servizio è stato disponibile dato che abbiamo chiesto una sostituzione con gli osomaki perché non sono di nostro gradimento e ci hanno fatto delle alternative valide al loro posto. Alla fine però con questa sostituzione sono venuti fuori 40 pezzi e non 52, però sono assolutamente bastati! L’unica pecca è che il personale parla poco inglese quindi all’inizio è stato difficile comunicare però poi ci siamo capiti. Sono comprese la salsa di soia, lo zenzero e le bacchette....
