Tapperij De Zwaan — Restaurant in Heeze-Leende

The beer menu is huge. The food menu is small but mixed.

I ordered a beer at a local brewery, but it was not available. It can happen, but still, I would expect to have the local beers in stock.

As a starter I ordered nachos. I didn't like them. They had way too much time in the oven. The burger was good.

I understand it is hard to find employees. I think they hired some new staff members. They were nice but it took a long time before they came to order new drinks. Also, when four waitresses are walking around, and six customers, you would expect they would have time to clean up the tables and collect empty glasses.

Nice place, but I would recommend you first to pick another cafe or pub...

Food: I have gotten paella and I can guarantee it was deep freeze before it was served. The taste was ok, but deffo not worth 20 eur. Also the prices of drinks were not mentioned in the menu. It was surprise for me to find out that kombutcha that costs in Jumbo 1,6 eur is being sold here for 5 eur. Service: 20 minutes waiting just to order drinks and food. Also when we asked what the dish consist from (as it was not completely clear from the menu description) the waitress couldn’t say what is in the dish. Atmosphere: actually quite nice place both inside and outside. Makes you feel cozy.

I wouldn’t advise to visit this place simply because of the price-quality matter. Hopefully it will change...

Service people were so busy. after 5 mins sitting, we asked a personeel to order, and were told that we shall wait someone in a special cloth to do the order. She only saw known people, did the talking and order for them, just did not see us. Eventually, She glanced us once after we were being there for another 10 mins, she turned her back to another table for payment. After in total 20+ mins of waiting, we left. What an experience!

As a local residence, I would only recommend it for a drink in the afternoons, but not during...
