Acid surprise. The location at the top of the hotel and decoration is superb, as well as the food. They offered five-course menu based on cod-fish, whitefish, potato risotto and pheasant as main course. All the dishes were very tasty and original. A great venue for that special occasion. The staff speak excellent English and English menus were offered which made my partner feel very welcome. Excellent food prepared with care and with interesting little twists (like the popcorn on the dessert!). Really not that much more expensive than a meal out in an average restaurant in Leeuwarden but for a vastly better experience...

Unfortunately a very underwhelming experience. The pasta (ravioli dish) was overcooked. The whole cray fish was presented well but dry, not that well prepared sauce for the crayfish came 10min after the crayfish, not that the sauce was tasty either.

Beautiful views.

But furthermore I would not place this restaurant in your fine...
