Pempek Elysha — Restaurant in Leidschendam-Voorburg

my experience having dinner on Sunday in this place is awful,

here is the explanation, regarding the food, it is fine, pempek is good (will come back for this), nasi tampah not bad, but also not the best Indonesian food that I’ve ever eaten in this country,

but, here is the awful part, our table should wait for a little more than one hour and two times reminder to get our orders completed (two portions of nasi tampah), also, it looks like other tables who came later than us already got their orders before us, it is so ridiculous, even though this place giving us a snack (my gratitude for that), it doesn’t really makes us forget the fact that our order got skipped and almost forgotten,

I understand the place is full, but still, our order is simple (based on menu and no request to modified the menu), and I think not going to take so much time to prepare, also their crew passed our table many times, but seems to not care that our orders is not complete,

so, I hope this place can be better in the future regarding their service and not repeating the same experience me and my family get to other customers (even though when we are there, other table already experienced the same thing, that makes them change one order from dine-in...

Visited this place for couple of times, drove 1 hour from our city only to have fresh Indonesian food. All food are freshly made once u place order on the spot, it will take some times to bring it to your table! So don't come with "starving belly" 😁. Always busy during the weekend, better reserve the seat if you are in a big group. Worth it to try!! I saw les Indo restaurant/warung that serve the menu fresh like Pempek Elysha. The plating is so beautiful, order TAMPAH menu, this will bring u back to Kampung Halaman vibes 😘. And try Gudeg komplit special menu from Jogjakarta, you can also ask for Vegan Gudeg menu I think 😇🥰.

Input: to better the hygiene quality, such as the cutleries, that might less supervision to clean it good bcs using dishwasher.

Bad service, tables were dirty and when we asked the waitress to wipe the table, she did like 3 wipes leaving the table still dirty for 80%. Moreover, whatever crumbs she wiped, she just wiped it off the table onto the floor. Then we just sat there for 15 minutes without being given a menu or anyone taking an order for our drinks. We waited another half hour before being served our drinks and if we didn't call the waitress to take our order I don't think she would've ever visited our table again. That's impressive considering there are only 10 tables or so. Another 45 minutes later our food finally arrived. The quality of the food was passable and if not for my foul mood I probably would've liked it. That's the only reason this review has 2 stars...
