McDonald's — Restaurant in Lelystad

🇬🇧 10/18/2024 One of the best, if not the best McDonalds branch in Europe that I have been to.

Prices in the Netherlands are unfortunately much more expensive than in other European countries, but I cannot currently confirm the bad experiences here. Maybe the feedback was taken seriously and a lot of things were improved, I don't know. The restaurant and the toilets are very clean. I have never received my order so quickly. The food tasted like junk food should taste. Fries a bit dry. Otherwise very good. The good service is also praiseworthy. It almost felt like you were in a restaurant and not a junk food shop. We were asked several times if the table should be wiped and were greeted in a friendly manner. I have never experienced anything like this in a McDonalds before. Very exemplary. The portions seem smaller in the Netherlands and the menus much more expensive than in Germany, for example.

All in all a very good junk food experience, even if it will cost me a few months of my life.

🇳🇱 18 oktober 2024 Een van de beste, zo niet de beste, McDonald's-filialen in Europa waar ik was. Helaas zijn de prijzen in Nederland veel duurder dan in andere Europese landen, maar de slechte ervaringen hier kan ik op dit moment niet bevestigen. Misschien werd de feedback serieus genomen en zijn er veel dingen verbeterd, ik weet het niet. Het restaurant en de toiletten zijn erg schoon. Ik heb mijn bestelling nog nooit zo snel ontvangen. Het eten smaakte zoals junkfood zou moeten smaken. Frietjes wat droog. Anders heel goed. Ook de goede service is lovenswaardig. Je had bijna het gevoel dat je in een restaurant was en niet in een junkfoodwinkel. Meerdere malen werd ons gevraagd of de tafel afgeveegd en vriendelijk begroet moest worden. Ik heb nog nooit zoiets meegemaakt bij een McDonald's. Zeer voorbeeldig. In Nederland lijken de porties kleiner en lijken de menukaarten beduidend duurder dan bijvoorbeeld in Duitsland.

Al met al een hele goede junkfood-ervaring, ook al kost het me een paar maanden van mijn leven.

🇩🇪 18.10.2024 Eine der besten, wenn nicht die beste McDonalds Filiale in Europa in der ich war. Preise sind in den Niederlanden bedauerlicherweise sehr viel teurer als in anderen europäischen Ländern, dennoch kann ich die schlechten Erfahrungen hier aktuell keinesfalls bestätigen. Vielleicht wurde das Feedback auch ernst genommen und vieles verbessert, ich weiß es nicht.

Das Restaurant und die Toiletten sind sehr sauber. Ich habe noch nie so schnell meine Bestellung erhalten. Das Essen schmeckte so wie das Junk Food schmecken sollte. Pommes etwas trocken. Ansonsten sehr gut.

Loebenswert auch der gute Service. Man fühlte sich schon fast wie in einem Restaurant und keinem Junkfood Laden. Mehrfach wurden wir gefragt ob der Tisch gewischt werden sollte und freundlich begrüßt. So etwas habe ich bisher in keinem McDonalds erlebt. Sehr vorbildlich. Die Portionen scheinen in den Niederlanden kleiner und die Menüs deutlich teurer als bspw. in Deutschland.

Alles in allem eine sehr gute Junk Food Erfahrung, auch wenn sie mich einige Monate meines Lebens...

Had one of the best Big Tasty here in Lelystad, and they even accepted my MasterCard in one of the do-it-your-self terminals! :D I was quite surprised the Big Tasty is so great, wish we would have it here in Hungary too, the previous Big Tasty I had in Hengelo near IKEA/MediaMarkt was quite a disaster for some reason, probably one of the newbie messed up my burger but oh what ever, can't really pick that random person doing your burger right? But yeah, I'd totally visit this place again if I could! Maybe next year. The only thing I really missed here in the Netherlands was the McFarm burgers, Dutch people should really give it a try it's one of the best ones next to the...

I was there today with my friends and 2/4 our orders weren't correctly done. Almost nobody talks in english so if you want them to fix Ur order is really hard to explain to them what is wrong. My gf ordered ice cream but she Hasn't get receipt cause machine that she used hasn't printed that... So they didnt want to give us this ice cream because we didnt have confirmation of our purchase. I tried to explain 3 times what happened and finally other guy Has helped me but ice cream almost became (not ice) cream... The service isn't fast , they look like Stones guys while working. I don' t recommend...
