Edit 26/11/2021: After intervention of the NVWA and remarks from friends that the sushi is back to a respectable quality, i must say after having tried it a couple of times now, they are right. Delivery times are still an issue and wrong orders some times as well, but food quality has dramatically increased. Edited review from 1 star to 4.

Because the owner does not respond to claims of food poisoning, i have reported them to the Dutch Food Authorities (NVWA). I suggest if you got poisoned as well, report them so they get closed down.
On 31/07/2021, i received the following email reaction from the Dutch Food Authorities (NVWA): "An inspector of the NVWA carried out an inspection following your report to the company you reported. During this inspection, the inspector himself found that the holding did not meet the legal requirements for food safety. This is a violation of the Commodities Act. Read morei am highly suspicious of this place and i don't think they are who they say they are. i believe this business might just be a cover for something more sketchy going on underneath. the shop itself looks extremely bizarre, the shelves are half empty, the interior looks unfinished and broken. i came in to take a look at the grocery store hoping to buy some asian snacks and foods but the second i walked in i was approached by a man who works there telling me the 'shop is closed'. he told me 'only sushi' so i can order sushi but cannot shop at the store? very strange. it's like i couldn't even walk over to the section of the establishment where the food was kept. is it possible they were wanting to hide something? he also seemed quite alarmed to see me in the shop, as if my presence was not welcome or me being there made him panic. perhaps i wasn't one of their regular or familiar clients for the kind of 'business' they run judging by the reaction. a very sketchy place and and i believe more people should be warned about whatever sketchy business is...
Read moreI’ve ordered twice from Daisuki and after my first experience I hate the fact that I gave them the benefit of the doubt because the sushi was nice. First time when I ordered, the food took 3 hours to arrive. This time around same thing happened. We luckily did not pay online but chose with cash instead, because we refused the food upon delivery. We never got confirmed that the restaurant had confirmed/accepted our order until they were outside our door, and “suddenly” the online status changed from nothing to “In 45 minutes your delivery will arrive”. When explaining this to the driver he did not seem phased by our complaint and simply said “Yeah”, confirmed the time we ordered, and left with the food (which came in a very small bag that were supposed to feed 4-5 people??).
