King George — Restaurant in Maastricht

My husband and I went to Maastricht to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were looking for a restaurant with delicious food. After reading several reviews we decided to try this restaurant, and we wouldn't want to miss it! The food was truly amazing. The flavors were so refined that they cannot be described in words. We let the chef surprise us and enjoyed a wonderful mix of cold and hot dishes. The chicken was incredibly tender and tasty, and the meat was perfectly prepared.

What made this experience even more special was the excellent service. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. We immediately felt welcome, as if we were at home. The atmosphere was so pleasant and cheerful, and the price-quality ratio was excellent.

This restaurant definitely deserves the number 1 award, not only for the delicious food they serve, but also for the warm welcome and the unmistakable hospitality. If I ever visit Maastricht again, I will definitely go back. This is truly one of the best restaurants there...

We went there for Sunday lunch with friends and families. We had the whole indoor seating. Unfortunately the outside area was closed,and the weather was not ok. Food is great, we had hummus with meat, fatouch, arayes, shawarma, mix grill. Ayares were amazing, specially with the taratour sauce. Fries were also good. Fatouch is different than my hometown s fatouch, but I must say it is fresh. I enjoyed the mixed grill, tasty. Most of all, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. The staff would be a major reason to go back there. Prices are on the expensive side however, compared to other mideastern restaurants in the region. Still great experience, will definitely revisit soon. Must try...

I've been here some weeks ago with my mum after visiting the museum in Maastricht and oh my god where should I start.. The location has a great interior and it's close to a big parking lot which is a plus.

The owner made us feel very welcome. We chose different kinds of starters and two main dishes. The food was just incredible. I love my food to be super flavourful and I usually need to add lime or salt in restaurants. But this food was absolutely perfectly flavoured. And that's coming from a person that LOVES Syrian and middle eastern food. I also want to add that the waitress was super lovely and did a great job! We will surely be back and can't wait to try the rest...
