Never again. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially if you have someone in your company who is pregnant, like I am.

We wanted the four course surprise menu and had given all dietary restrictions upfront. First, I was served crab. According to voedingscentrum, crab is not safe for pregnant people. I had to inform them of this, and they tried to argue back that it was okay because the crab wasn't raw. That's not what the national food safety recommendations state.

Second course, they served pikeperch (snoekbaars), which again is listed as dangerous for pregnancy. I explained it again, they tried to argue this one that because this was "wild" pikeperch, it is actually okay. Farmed pikeperch is supposedly what's not safe. But I'm just supposed to take their word for it when not a single source says the same?

I felt deeply uncomfortable, like I was a burden for sending things back, but I also lost all trust in whatever they served me next. And I do have my doubts about what I got after that and (partially) ate: veal cheeks that I just will have to trust were cooked through well enough and a dessert with a riesling vinaigrette where I'll just hope all alcohol was thoroughly cooked out.

I feel stupid for coming here and wish I had listened to my gut that told me after sending back two courses that I should pull the plug on the whole dinner and leave.

Careless service, and after all that, I still had to pay more than a hundred euros for a disappointing meal and a massive feeling of discomfort. I will never be...

We took the Christmas box to go. Very good quality as always. We are visiting this restaurant for more than eight years on a regular basis. Now they have earned the Michelin star we were more than happy to hear that there are also take away boxes. The starter and dessert was already plated like in the restaurant which was very nice. All other dishes had to be finalised at home but it was easy to do as a handout was given as well. We had several to go offers from other restaurants already. The packaging in Rantrée was done very clever and with high quality. We paid 65€ - 5 courses - one Michelin star restaurant food for one person - a very good price. The food was excellent as always.

The only small thing we were missing was something like photos from the dishes in the final stage, so the guests could try to plate it like it was meant by the chef.

we went there on the 5th of October at 8:30 and left at 12:30. service tragic, it took them 4 hours to serve the 7 course meal. food tragic, couldnt even eat it. everything tragic, even the waitress was rude . we went there aiming to have high quality food, and wouldnt mind paying 1,000€ , 5,000€ or even 10,000€ . the bill came out to 1,020€ and the 7course was €148 for each, we had one bottle of wine, and ordered oysters which never even came, and we still went to macdonalds afterwards because we were still hungry. disgrace, its the worst michellin star we've ever been to, i bet that they gave the star to themselves. dont dare go...
