A truly special place with quiet elegance and exceptional food

We had a wonderful dinner at Restaurant De Tipbrug and it was truly one of the most beautiful and refined dining experiences we've had in the Netherlands.

The atmosphere is warm, calm, and elegant — quiet luxury without noise or pretension. We sat by the bar and were served by the lovely hostess, who was charming, kind, and attentive.

The food was absolutely delicious. I had zucchini with tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese, and sweet potato purée — delicate and full of flavour. My mother had a meat mix plate with a rich, aromatic sauce. Alongside the main dishes, we were surprised with several side plates: roasted potatoes, carrots with green peas, fresh tomato-cucumber salad with yogurt dressing, and a sweet plum sauce. Everything was fresh, carefully prepared, and beautifully served.

We also enjoyed two excellent glasses of wine — sweet white and a deep, fragrant red wine recommended by the hostess. It was divine!

For dessert, I had a perfect crème brûlée, and my mother had the dessert tasting set with coffee.

Even the restroom was luxurious and spotless — a detail that says a lot about the overall quality of the place.

This place is so amazing! As an American visiting family in Europe, we had a large family dinner at this cute and cozy restaurant. Not only was the food great, they also worked with 2 of us with dietary restrictions. The people were so kind and helpful. We were welcomed as if we were family! I can not say enough great things about how good the food was! I would give them 10 stars...

Een toprestaurant waar we heerlijk de verjaardag van schoonzusje gevierd hebben. Een topkok en een prachtige zeer aardige dame die de bediening deed. Samen deden ze even een avond het ons voortreffelijk naar de zin maken . JA we zijn wat gewend en deze plek staat zeker in de top 5. Ik vroeg mij af hoe je de bediening doet en toch zeker 15.mensen kan bedienen en niemand hoefde te wachten op zijn eten. In mijn beleving een topkok die samen zeker een ster zouden moeten hebben. We komen zeker terug en vooraf reserveren is wel gewenst. Dank jullie wel voor de voortreffelijke avond. En nee wij zijn hier voor het eerst en geen relaties met de zaak.. Maar nu dus wel na...
