🔴 Appalling – Avoid at All Costs!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was, without exaggeration, the worst restaurant experience of my life. As a pregnant woman, I was subjected to inhumane treatment—left waiting over one hour for food that never arrived properly. And not a single apology was offered. Nothing. No empathy, no accountability, just cold indifference. When we asked about the delay, we were arrogantly told “This isn’t fast food.” What an insulting excuse. We know perfectly well what Dutch cuisine is and how long it takes to prepare basic dishes from their menu. And when the food finally came? Cold. Unacceptable. Inedible.

To make matters worse, the waiter in charge was not only unprofessional but downright rude and demeaning—speaking to us as if we were ignorant. We were never treated like valued guests, let alone like human beings. The experience was humiliating and deeply upsetting. We left the food untouched on the table and still had to pay for it.

Shameful service. Shameful attitude. Shameful place.

🔴 Never again. And I strongly urge others to think twice before supporting a restaurant that treats its customers with such blatant disrespect.

⭐ Als ik nul sterren kon geven, had ik dat absoluut gedaan. Dit was de slechtste restaurantervaring van mijn leven.

Ik bezocht dit restaurant terwijl ik zwanger was, met de verwachting op z’n minst normale service en een beetje menselijkheid. Wat ik kreeg was een schandalige, onmenselijke behandeling die mij compleet heeft verbijsterd.

We hebben meer dan een uur gewacht op ons eten—zonder enige communicatie, zonder excuses, en met totaal gebrek aan respect. Toen we beleefd vroegen wat er aan de hand was, kregen we een arrogante reactie: “Dit is geen fastfood.” Die opmerking alleen al toont aan hoeveel professionalisme en klantvriendelijkheid hier ontbreekt. Ik weet heel goed hoe lang het duurt om de gerechten van de Nederlandse keuken te bereiden—dat is niet het probleem. Het probleem is het volledig ontbreken van empathie en verantwoordelijkheid.

Toen het eten eindelijk kwam, was het koud, smakeloos en onacceptabel. De verantwoordelijke ober was onbeschoft, neerbuigend, en behandelde ons alsof we dom waren omdat we durfden te vragen wat er aan de hand was.

En alsof dat nog niet genoeg was, moesten we ook nog betalen voor eten dat we niet eens hebben aangeraakt—zonder ook maar één woord van verontschuldiging. Helemaal niets.

Deze ervaring was niet alleen vreselijk, het was mensonterend.

🔴 Ik raad iedereen ten zeerste aan om deze plek te vermijden. Er zijn genoeg restaurants die hun klanten wél met respect behandelen. Dit is er absoluut niet één...

Very good food. You will have to make reservation. Waitingtime can be long.

The Liberico ribs without bone for starters are really excellent! Very tastefull and a little crunchy from the grill. A real joy!! Next time I will take these as the main meal.

We also had a tastery of 4 kinds of meat. I can't remember the kind of meat, but all juicy and wonderfull of taste.

The deserts were very nice to see and taste. Too many flavors and different kinds to choose from. Incredible, what a treat!

Only thing that bothered me is that we got hints to leave because it was so busy and the people dining outside were cold. We were there for only 2 hours and had to wait for quite a while to get the food. This is NOT the way to act to customers that pay good money to enjoy a dinner. Therefore only 4 stars...

Charming Bistro with Great Food in the Heart of Noorden

Tucked away in the picturesque little town of Noorden, this bistro is a true hidden gem. While parking can be a bit tricky due to the narrow and often busy road, there is a parking area next to the restaurant — though it was quite full when we arrived.

Once inside, you’re welcomed by a modern yet cozy and charming atmosphere. The spacious terrace is perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal outdoors, and the menu offers a wide variety of interesting and well-thought-out dishes.
