A new restaurant opened on de Lind to start: the restaurant is inviting with a comfortable terrace overlooking de Lind, and if you like to be in a more private setting, they have a cosy garden terrace in the back with a bar. Inside, the decor is well-appointed and comfy, and the staff is full of energy and definitely dedicated and proud.
They have a good selection of beverages (although no IPA), and the wine list is good with a good offer of by the glass and an excellent bottle selection. Not too big of a wine list, but definitely one with a good variety and to please each palate. The lunch menu was perfect, with a good selection and variety. The seafood salad was one of the best we've seen. The brioche with steak tartare was ok. The tartare is placed on top of a large brioche; preferably, I suggest they put it on the plate and serve with a more petite brioche on the side. The taste was a little blend of what I am used to, but the quality of ingredients used was good. Overall a delightful lunch. Service and dedication were excellent, I am sure they will get better and better, and it is definitely a place to...

And the toast had some sweetness to it. Personally I am not a big fan of a savory salmon topping on a sweetened toast. Bisque and shrimp coctail were nice. Sud is okay for a lunch but in my personal opinion there are better options...
Read moreWe enjoyed some delicious dishes at Sud. The tuna tataki was excellent and highly recommended. The carpaccio was also tasty, but the essence of the dish gets a bit lost due to the abundance of added condiments like cheese and sauce, which overpowered the simplicity that makes carpaccio so special.
The service was fine, but the atmosphere in the restaurant was less enjoyable due to the acoustics. The space was quite noisy, making it difficult to have a relaxed conversation.
One small detail we noticed: there’s a beautiful tap featuring Leffe, but unfortunately, the Leffe is only served from a bottle, as they never actually have...
