We were told Wednesday’s and Thursday’s were bathing suit days but that does not imply being nude is Mandatory every other day. This would’ve maybe been fine if it weren’t for the fact that the guests were quite strange and a lot of them would stare a lot. This came to the extent that some people would seem to undress you with their eyes. It’s not that we felt unsafe to the extent that we felt something bad would happen to us, but definitely not safe enough to Have to be naked in front of people that don’t just look at you but Watch you. When we had first gotten in the magnesium bath with our bathing suits on we were asked to remove them and that no exceptions were to be made. When I asked if wearing my bathing suit would make people uncomfortable, the lady who worked there said yes. We felt extremely uncomfortable and would not recommend this place unless you’re maybe a cisgendered older white person. If we are the people with the most melanin in a place This big, something’s wrong because we are Very pale.. being queer, trans and poc this place felt just plain bad. We both have chronic illnesses and we both woke up with body pains. Which is a sign that this Wellness center cares more about money than genuine wellness. Weirdness center maybe makes more sense. We came here to rest and relax and instead were just Watched. The hotel balconies have access to each other in a kind of peculiar way as well. The key for your room is a wristband though which was quite cool! The bath robes were also adequate. The restaurant and the hotel just seemed extremely overpriced. What also made me uncomfortable was that in one of the thermal baths I got into, my whole body had so much light on it, like a Strange amount almost as if To Show more of everyone’s bodies? In any case I was glad I only tried going in after people were leaving. We probably won’t be coming back. Cute village though! Also you’re allowed to bring your children if they’re above 12, but I would Not bring my children here. Based on the other reviews I strongly suggest asking the previous owners to take it back before you go under. Earth and her springs should be...
Read moreVisited last night for the third time since the renovation. The saunas are lovely and the surroundings are beautiful, but there are still quite a few frustrating issues that keep coming up.||Every time I go, I find myself wandering around trying to locate the different pools. It’s not exactly a maze, but it does feel like one at times. Signage could really be improved. I was also disappointed to find the saltwater pool missing, because that was one of the main reasons I came, along with the saunas.||When I sat down outside to order something, it took a very long time before anyone even noticed me. There were two full tables that had been waiting longer than me and still hadn’t been helped either.||Luckily, when someone finally came, I was served by a very kind staff member who explained the coffee and pastries to me in detail – top service from her! The coffee and lemon meringue tart looked great and tasted delicious. But it’s a shame you can’t order proper food on that terrace – I didn’t feel like going off in search of the restaurant again.||One major downside: |I developed an bad eye infection, most likely from the outdoor pool. My eyes turned red and inflamed right after – I looked like Dracula. That’s really not okay and feels unhygienic and concerning!|(I’ve added a pic from after washing out my eyes for dear life)||Lastly, something that happens to me every single time: the wristband you're given at check-in is supposed to open your locker, but it rarely works. Even after many tries, it didn’t work again this time. I had to walk all the way to the front desk in my bathrobe to ask for help. Turns out my wristband was linked to the wrong locker. If this is a known issue, please inform visitors about it upfront – it’s frustrating to spend 10 minutes trying to open a locker that was never going to work in the first place.||All in all, the place has potential, but there are just too many recurring frustrations. From now on, I’ll be visiting Peize or another spa where I actually...
Read moreI have stayed here several times before, and I must say that I am sad that the previous menu of the saunalodge and the brasserie is gone. Currently it basically has only one option for vegetarians: goat cheese sandwich and goat cheese salad (which also means it has no option for vegans...). Previously there were many more vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.||Having said that, this place has many wonderful pools (including the new outside thermal bath that has a lovely view on the park and nice jacuzzi). Most of the new saunas have a bit too much music and lights. I prefer the old saunas that are just sauna. They offer some aroma ceremonies in this corona time, which I think is a good solution (but the music/sound is not necessary and actually distracting). ||The steam baths are lovely, and there are sufficiently many different ways to cool off and nice places to rest. They take care of social distancing by limiting the number of people in the pool by having you put your slippers in one of the available boxes--and wait if all boxes are full. ||The hotel is still very nice and the restaurant in the hotel is wonderful (although I am sad the water menu has disappeared and the choice options for the package that includes dinner). Breakfast is still a buffer but with choices limited to foods that are protected and clear walking directions and signups to ensure there are not too many people at the same time.||Overall I'd say still a relaxing place to be--especially during the pandemic. If they could improve the menu and especially add more vegan options that would make it...
